#99
write a bucket list
I just turned 30 on the 6th April 2020, in a time of confusion across the World. This provided me with time to reflect about how fortunate I’ve been in life and what else I’d love to see and do.
I Googled how to write a Bucket List. I love the idea of setting yourself a challenge and completing this goal giving you a sense of accomplishment and feeling proud, truly proud of yourself, ‘I did that!’
The oldest of 3, born into a loving, super close family, mum and dad are my heroes, still together annoying, loving and making each other laugh for over 35 years now. Incredible groups of friends, ranging from primary school, football lads, university friends, close girl mates, travelling mates and a uniquely close group of Lads.
Travelling is arguably my favourite hobby, joint with Football, because from it I have grown as a person, meeting incredible people, doing some amazing things and being in situations I would never have dreamed of and will never forget.
I realised I had already achieved over 100 experiences most people would love to say they’ve achieved. To name a few.
Running a marathon. Bungee jump. Sky Dive. Visiting 30+ countries. Swimming with dolphins. Scuba Diving. Learned to snowboard. Fly in a Helicopter over Grand Canyon & Niagara Falls. Gamble in Vegas. Take a salsa lesson. Drive a SuperCar. Visit Machu Picchu. See Iguazu Falls.
Completing number #99 just before I turned 30 took me about 3 hours and has given me a real purpose, especially whilst the World is on it’s arse and going through such a tough period. Also a top tip, it turns out, something like this really inspires friends and family for gift ideas 😉
